Valhalla launched on Nov. 10 across Xbox consoles — including the next-gen Xbox Series X and S — and PC. The title subsequently debuted on Nov. 12 for PlayStation users, including on the next-gen PlayStation 5. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is also the top-selling Ubisoft PC launch ever.
While Ubisoft declined to provide specific sales data around Valhalla’s launch, the series’ most recent installment, 2018’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, sold 1.4 million copies in its first week, while 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins topped 1.5 million copies sold in its first week.
Ubisoft also has “robust content plans” for Valhalla beyond launch, producer Julien Laferrière said. “Launch is only the beginning,” said Laferrière.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now across Xbox and PlayStation consoles, Stadia, Amazon Luna, PC and on Ubisoft +, Ubisoft’s subscription service.
