LucasFilm Games, the publisher of Star Wars video games which was first founded in the early 1980s, has announced a full rebrand for 2021.

The new look includes updated Facebook and Twitter pages, a new LucasFilm Games logo and multiple teases of what’s to come. The announcement also includes a sizzle reel of LucasFilm’s recent and current offerings, including Star Wars Squadrons, the Journey to Batuu expansion for The Sims 4 and the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

“Lucasfilm Games is now the official identity for all gaming titles from Lucasfilm,” the StarWars.com blog post writes, “a name that encompasses the company’s rich catalog of video games and its eye toward the future.”

LucasFilm Games began publishing games in 1982, specializing in simulation and point-and-click adventure games. Outside of the Star Wars franchise LucasFilm Games has also published The Secret of Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion and Grim Fandango.

No specific game announcements were made along with the rebrand reveal, but the blog post does say to “stay tuned to StarWars.com for more on Lucasfilm Games.”
